Overview & Challenges

Kidder Mathews is a commercial real estate brokerage company that has multiple offices across the West Coast. The Orange County office in Irvine, CA includes brokers that specialize in various types of real estate including industrial, office, retail, land investment, capital markets, and tenant representation. Title change from Marketing Assistant to Marketing Coordinator at the beginning of 2022.

The main challenge is that we support all of the brokers/real estate agents individually because each broker is technically their own separate business. This results in us working to create proposals and marketing materials for each individual broker and brokerage teams.

My Contributions

Designed proposals and marketing materials for both major and local commercial real estate brokerage project requests (e.g. flyers, offering memorandums, maps, presentations, proposals, social media posts, eblasts). Created icons for use in marketing materials and proposals. Helped brokers setup social media posts.

Assisted with corporate marketing projects: updated corporate research market reports, worked on major marketing and proposal projects, helped with updating vectorized maps to current brand styles.

Custom Vector Maps

Helped update and create new vector maps for anyone in the company to use in their projects instead of using the flat image maps from Regis Online for regions and areas that the brokers are usually focused on. I helped update the majority of the vector maps we have for California (Bay Area, Los Angeles County, Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego County).

Below is a map of Downtown Los Angeles that I created from scratch following Kidder Mathews branding (colors, size relationships, label styles) and organizing the layers for easy editing, modification for different projects, and future updates.

The broker that requested this wanted to have a brochure/booklet layout design that would have the capability to show off the high quality photography that this broker usually has for most of the properties they list for sale or lease.
